Have you ever noticed how our lives are divided into various segments?
For example, a person is made up of emotions, which can then be divided into basics like happiness, sadness, anger, which can then be further divided into more specific emotions - happiness: joy, glee, ecstasy, bliss; sadness: depression, misery, gloom, despair; anger: rage, fury, displeasure, irritability.
Another example is our wants, which can then be divided into what we want from our career (which can then be divided into satisfaction, money, etc), our studies (degrees, awards), our love life (sex, soul mate, marriage, kids).
Needs: shelter ("home", electricity), air (cleanliness, consistency), water (cleanliness, temperature), food (proteins, carbohydrates, fats).
See what I'm getting at?
Literally every part of our lives can be divided into segments and those segments can be divided into segments and those segments and be divided into segments.
The entire reason for why I'm bringing this up, is because our oh so precious time is, as you can probably already tell, segmented as well. We divide it up for work, for play and for time spent with loved ones (which can either fall into "work" or "play", depending on the reason/person).
If you take a tv show, such as the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, that time, on our part, is categorized into "play." We divide up our play time into working out, hanging out with friends, relaxing by ourselves, etc. We then go further and decide how much of that time is spent eating out at restaurants, getting drinks, reading, writing, shopping, watching tv...I mean, the list goes on. But, the time on Craig Ferguson's part (as well as everyone working for the show) is categorized into "work". They have to figure out what works for the show and what doesn't. So what do they do? They divide the show up into bits and segments!
So like the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and our lives in general, I'm deciding to divide this blog up into segments.
Current segments on amore, amor, amour :
My Life in 10 Seconds
Reasons Why I Don't Want To Grow Old
YouTube Moments
WorldNews Moments
And future segments that I've been toying with:
Reasons Why I'm Looking Forward To Growing Old
and a little segment I like to call "Day in History", which is pretty self explanatory.
So to start off "Day in History", I'd like to go back to July 20, 2009.
The 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 and the first moon landing:
